Amateur Masterclass Competition

The Amateur Masterclass Competition is open to all flutists over the age of 18, not currently enrolled in a college of university. Each applicant may record any solo work or movement of a solo work of their choice. Applicants will be judged based on accuracy of rhythm, intonation, and technique and overall interpretation and musicianship. There will be two winners chosen from the applicants. The winners will perform the work of their choice for Katherine Kemler, Professor of Flute at Louisiana State University, in the Amateur Masterclass, on April 4, 2020. The masterclass is open to all registered festival attendees. Please complete and send the form below.
